How To Install 5.03 GEN-C on a PSP 3000 / PSP 2000 TA088v3

If you own a PSP 3000 or a PSP 2000 with a TA088v3 motherboard, you can install custom firmware! 5.03 GEN-C enables you to play ISO/CSO files, play homebrew,…

Requirements :

• A Brite PSP (3000) or a PSP Lite (2000) with the TA088v3 motherboard
  
• Official firmware 5.03 or lower (5.50 or higher? Sorry dude)
  
• ChickHEN R2 installed
  
• 5.03 GEN-C files

Make sure ChickHEN R2 is installed, click the link below if you don't have it yet:

How To Install ChickHEN R2

• Download and extract the GEN-C files on your computer.
  
• Enable a USB Connection between your computer and your PSP
  
• Copy the PSP folder to the root (X:/) of your Memory Stick
  
• Disconnect the USB Connection
  
• On your PSP go to GAME >> Memory Stick >> 5.03 GEN-C Updater and press X
  
• The updater now installs CFW, press X to reboot your PSP
  
• Beware! Every time you completely shut down your PSP you must reload the GEN-C firmware !
  
• This is also the reason why they call it "partially hackable".
